The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) holds the authority to release the answer key for the IPMAT entrance exam. The institute will publish the answer key on the official website.

Generally, IIM will release the answer key in two stages:

How to Download IPMAT Answer Key 2023?

To download the answer key, you need to enter your user ID and password. With the help of the answer key, you can calculate your probable scores before the declaration of the final result.

• Step 1: Visit the official website of IIM Indore i.e., iimidr.ac.in
• Step 2: On the Home page, click on the IPMAT Answer Key link.
• Step 3: Complete the login process by entering your respective login details.
• Step 4: Select your question paper set and click on the submit button.

You can raise objections if you find any discrepancy in the answer key. You are allowed to file objections within the window period and only through online mode.

You can follow the below steps to raise objections against the IPMAT Provisional Answer key.

• Visit the official website of IPMAT.
• Login to your account using your user ID and password.
• Click on the "Challenge Answer Key" link.
• Select the question paper set and questions you wish to raise the objection to.
• You can also add remarks for each answer and submit it by paying  INR100 for each question.
• You can pay this amount only through online mode.

How to Calculate Score using IPMAT Answer Key?

After downloading the answer keys, you can cross-check all your answers and calculate your scores.

 After calculating the scores, sum up the marks and verify with the previous year or expected Cut Off Marks for IPMAT to know your chances of getting qualified for the counseling.

Out of 100 questions, you have attempted 96 questions, and the remaining 4 are unanswered. By verifying your answers from the IPMAT Answer key, you have answered 81 correctly, while 15 are incorrect. Now, let us understand how to calculate the score. 

Marks for Correct Answers: 81*4= 324

Marks for Incorrect Answers: 15*1= 15

Marks for Un-attempted Questions: 4*0 = 0

IPMAT Score= (Marks for Correct Answers) - (Marks for Incorrect Answers) = 324-15 = 309

Difference between Provisional and Final Answer key

The exam authorities shall release IPMAT 2023 answer key in two phases: (a) provisional answer key and (b) official answer key.

• Initially, after the completion of the exam, the IIM Indore releases the provisional answer key. 
• With the help of the provisional answer key, you can verify all the answers and raise objections if you find any discrepancies.
• Considering the objections raised, authorities will modify the responses and release the final answer key for IPMAT 2023 within a week.

The scorecard of the IPMAT 2023 is released along with the results. It includes the scores and percentile obtained by you in each section of the paper along with the overall scores and percentile.
