• The IPM Rohtak & IPM Indore exam date for 2023 is not yet announced but is likely to be conducted in between May and July 2023.
• The Indore question paper will have 100 questions, and the Rohtak question paper will have 120 questions.
• All aspirants must attempt the exam only in the English language.
• The IPM Indore exam is conducted for 400 marks, and Rohtak is for 480 marks.

IIM Indore IPM Aptitude Test Pattern 2023

As said above, the Indian Institute of Management follows the same paper pattern of 2019 for the IPMAT Indore Entrance Exam 2023. 

The aptitude test for IIM Indore comprises 100 questions, out of which 60 are from quantitative ability (including MCQs and Short answers questions) and 40 questions from verbal ability.

IPMAT Question Paper Pattern for Aptitude Test 2023

There are three sections in the IPMAT 2023 exam: Quantitative Ability (MCQ), Quantitative Ability (SA), and Verbal Ability. 

• The exam will be held in online mode.
• The question paper includes only 100 questions, and each question carries four marks.
• The exam is conducted for a total of 400 marks.
• The total time duration of the exam is 120 minutes, i.e., 2 hours.

Personal Interview (PI)

Only those who will score minimum qualifying marks in the IPMAT exam will get shortlisted for the personal interview. The admission committee manages the interview round.

The interviewer tests your confidence levels, communication skills, general awareness, motivational skills, and knowledge during the interview.

Video Assessment (VA)

You will qualify for the video assessment round based on positive raw scores and minimum marks in each of the three sections of the Aptitude Test.

At this stage, you will be given a set of questions on which you are required to record your videos and upload them within the given time.

Number of Sections in IPMAT 2023

Out of three sections in the exam, two sections are based on Quantitative Aptitude, and the other is based on Verbal Ability.

As per the IPMAT Syllabus 2023, the quantitative Sections include topics such as Average, Profit & Loss, Percentage, Number Series, Data Interpretation (DI), and Logical Reasoning.

The Verbal Ability section includes reading comprehension, Error Detection, Vocabulary, and more questions.

IPMAT Time Duration 2023

As per the IPMAT Exam Pattern 2023 Guidelines, the exam duration is 120 minutes, i.e., 2 hours.

• There is a sectional time limit for each section.
• You will be given 80 minutes to attempt the Quantitative Section and 40 minutes for the Verbal Ability Section.
• It would help if you answered the sections in a pre-specified order, and the pre-specified order is the same for all exam-appearing aspirants.

IPMAT Marking Scheme 2023

• As per the IPMAT Paper Pattern, you will be rewarded four marks for every correct answer, and one mark will be deducted for every wrong answer in the MCQ questions.
• There will be no negative marking for the descriptive-type questions in the Quantitative section.
• No marks are allotted or deducted for unattempted questions.
