National Testing Agency has been conducting the Joint Entrance Examination (Main) – 2022 Session 1 at different centers located in 501 cities throughout the country and 22 cities outside India on 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, and 29 June 2022.

JEE Main Paper 2 is to be conducted in two sessions in the months of June and July respectively. JEE Main 2022 session 1 exam was held on June 23 and will continue until the 29th of June. JEE Main 2022 registration paper 2 for the second session will conclude on 30th June 2022.

21 June 2022: Admit Card Release

National Testing Agency has published an official notice mentioning the advisory and Instructions for the candidates of Joint Entrance Examination (Main) – 2022 Session 1.

The candidates are required to download their Admit Card of Joint Entrance Examination (Main) – 2022 for Session 1 (June 2022) from the official website on 21 June 2022.

06 April 2022: Announcement of JEE Main Rescheduled Date!

The National Testing Agency has revised the exam dates for the JEE Main Paper 2 Exam 2022. As per the revised dates, session 1 is rescheduled from April month to July month 2022 and the second 2 from May month to July month 2022.

The agency decided to reschedule the exam dates after receiving numerous representations from the students. For more information related to the exam dates, check the table below.

06 April 2022: Application Form Correction Window Opened!

As per the JEE Main New Update, students can edit their application form (if required) starting from 06 April 2022. The last date to make corrections in the application form is 08 April 2022 (up to 09:00 PM).

Thereafter, no correction will be entertained by the NTA under any circumstances. NTA announced that they have decided to provide an opportunity to edit/modify details in the online form in view of the numerous requests received from the students.

JEE Main Paper 2 Notification 2022 PDF

National Testing Agency has published the official notification for June and July sessions on its official website.

Here are some key highlights of the JEE Main Paper 2 Exam Date notification 2022:

  • The online application process for the 2nd session has started and concludes on 30 June.
  • All applicants have to submit the applications until 30 June 2022, along with the application fee.
  • Maths and Aptitude Tests will be taken in online mode while Drawing Test (Part 3) will be taken offline on an A4 size sheet.
  • Paper 2 consists of two parts: Paper 2A is conducted for B. Arch programs while Paper 2B is conducted for B. Planning programs.
  • The exam is conducted in Hindi and English.
  • You must submit only one application form for each session. The exam conducting body will not accept any form if you submit multiple forms for each session.

 JEE Main Paper 2 Eligibility Criteria 2022

To apply for the JEE Main exam, you have to fulfill the eligibility criteria in terms of nationality and educational qualification.

Age Limit

As per the official notification, there is no age limit to apply for the JEE Main Paper 2 Exam. However, you may be required to satisfy the age criteria set by the institute in which you are willing to take admission.

Nationality

  • Both Indian nationals and international applicants are eligible to apply for the exam.

Qualification

  • You must have passed class 12 or its equivalent in 2022, or 2021 from a recognized board or university. (or)
  • You can apply if you are appearing for your class 12 exams in 2022. (or)
  • You must have completed the Senior Secondary School Examination conducted by the National Institute of Open Schooling with a minimum of five subjects.
  • You must have passed any Public School/ Board/ University examination in India or any foreign country that is recognized as equivalent to the 10+2 system by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). (or)
  • You must have completed a Diploma recognized by AICTE or a State board of technical education of at least 3 years duration. (or)
  • If you have completed class 12 or equivalent exam outside India, you must hold a certificate of High School Examination of the Cambridge University or International Baccalaureate Diploma of the International Baccalaureate Office, Geneva.
  • You should produce a certificate from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) to the effect that the examination you have passed is equivalent to the Class 12 Examination if you have passed the qualifying exam outside India.

State Of Eligibility

  • You will be required to fill out the state code of eligibility at the time of the registration process.
  • The state code of eligibility will not depend upon the native or residence place.
  • If you have passed or appeared for Class 12 from NIOS, you should select the State of Eligibility according to the State in which the study Centre is located.
  • For the Indian nationals passing the 12th level from Nepal/Bhutan, the state code of eligibility will be determined based on the permanent address of India provided on the passport.

JEE Main Paper 2 Application Form 2022

The entire JEE Main Paper 2 Application Process will be conducted online mode. There are four stages involved in the application process i.e. Registration, Filling up of the application form, uploading of documents, and  Fee Payment. 

  • Visit the official website of JEE Main i.e. www.jeemain.nta.nic.in
  • On the homepage, click on the "Apply for JEE Main 2022" option.
  • Enter all the basic details such as name, email address, etc, and click on the "Submit" button
  • You will receive an acknowledgment on your registered mobile and email.

JEE Main Paper 2 Exam Pattern 2022

As per the new JEE Main Paper 2 Exam pattern, both B. Arch and B.Planning papers are conducted in online mode except for the Drawing section in B.Arch.

B. Arch exam will be conducted both Offline (Drawing Test) and Online (Mathematics and Aptitude). The time duration of the exam will be 3 Hours (180 Minutes).

Mathematics and aptitude sections consist of objective-type questions. The questions in the drawing test are designed to test your drawing and sketching skills.

JEE Main Paper 2 Exam Analysis 

  • As per the previous year's JEE Main Paper 2 Analysis, the exam was a moderate level of difficulty. Drawing and aptitude were easy while the maths section was tough. 
  • There were more questions from the 11th standard syllabus and Mathematics was a difficult section.
  • In the General Aptitude section, there were questions such as explaining the 3D images, viewing the structure of a building from the top, and having to match it with the options. 
  • In AAT, most of the questions were asked from the GK of Chandigarh location. Few questions were from Union Territory and capital. Few from Rock Garden city and Match following questions from Burj Kalifa.

JEE Main Paper 2 Exam Day Instructions 2022

National Testing Agency has released JEE Main Paper 2 Exam Day Instructions that everyone must follow on the day of the exam.

  • Ensure to reach the center at least half an hour before the reporting time. 
  • Do not carry a Camera, Calculator, Mobile, Purse, Jewellery, Watch, etc to the exam center.
  • You need to carry the admit card along with other important documents to the exam hall without fail.
  • If you belong to the PwD category, then you need to carry the certificate issued by the competent authority to the exam hall.
  • If you avail for the scribe facility, then both you and the scribe must wear the mask.
  • Try to avoid wearing clothes having too many pockets.
  • If you are a diabetic student, you can carry sugar tablets, fruits like bananas, apples, oranges, and transparent water bottles.

JEE Main Paper 2 Result 2022

The result will be published by National Testing Agency. The JEE Main Paper 2 Result will be released in the form of a PDF. You can able to download the results only in online mode.

JEE Main Paper 2 Exam Analysis 

  • As per the previous year's JEE Main Paper 2 Analysis, the exam was a moderate level of difficulty. Drawing and aptitude were easy while the maths section was tough. 
  • There were more questions from the 11th standard syllabus and Mathematics was a difficult section.
  • In the General Aptitude section, there were questions such as explaining the 3D images, viewing the structure of a building from the top, and having to match it with the options. 
  • In AAT, most of the questions were asked from the GK of Chandigarh location. Few questions were from Union Territory and capital. Few from Rock Garden city and Match following questions from Burj Kalifa.

JEE Main Paper 2 Admit Card 2022

Admit card is a mandatory document to be carried to the exam hall without fail. NTA will release the JEE Main Paper 2 Admit Card for session 3 on the official website. You can download the admit card by using your registration number and password.

  • Visit the official website of JEE
  • On the Home page, click on the "JEE Mains Admit Card" login tab
  • Enter your application number and password
  • Click on the "Submit button
  • The admit card will be displayed on the screen
  • Download the admit card and save it for future reference

JEE Main Paper 2 Exam Day Instructions 2022

National Testing Agency has released JEE Main Paper 2 Exam Day Instructions that everyone must follow on the day of the exam.

  • Ensure to reach the center at least half an hour before the reporting time. 
  • Do not carry a Camera, Calculator, Mobile, Purse, Jewellery, Watch, etc to the exam center.
  • You need to carry the admit card along with other important documents to the exam hall without fail.
  • If you belong to the PwD category, then you need to carry the certificate issued by the competent authority to the exam hall.
  • If you avail for the scribe facility, then both you and the scribe must wear the mask.
  • Try to avoid wearing clothes having too many pockets.
  • If you are a diabetic student, you can carry sugar tablets, fruits like bananas, apples, oranges, and transparent water bottles.

JEE Main Paper 2 Result 2022

The result will be published by National Testing Agency. The JEE Main Paper 2 Result will be released in the form of a PDF. You can able to download the results only in online mode.

You can follow the steps mentioned below while downloading the result.

  • Visit the official website of JEE Main 
  • Click on the "JEE Main Result" button
  • Enter your application number and date of birth
  • After clicking on ‘Submit’, a new screen will appear containing JEE Main 2022 paper 2 result
  • Download the result page and take a print for future reference

JEE Main Paper 2 Cut Off 2022

The cut-off marks will be released in the form of opening and closing ranks. To determine JEE Main Paper 2 Cut Off, various factors will be considered as the number of students who appeared for the exam, the difficulty level of the exam, the number of available seats, the previous year's cut-off, etc.
