JMI Admission through CUET

With the adoption of CUET admission across 90 private, central, deemed, and state universities, there have been so many rules and regulations we had to keep track of. Usually, there is just a common eligibility requirement for all UG programs in colleges. However, with CUET being introduced, this has changed. 

Firstly, JMI has not adopted CUET for all its courses; the registrar Nazim Hussain Jafri said, " Since CUET-UG is being implemented for the first time this year, we wanted to see how the examination works for us. We will hold entrance exams for select courses through the CUET UG exam, while admissions to other courses will continue to take place through the entrance exam conducted by the varsity every year. That way, we can assess the experience of conducting both exams and accordingly take a call in the future".

CUET Jamia Millia Islamia Eligibility Criteria 2023

If you're applying to a UG course that does not fall under the CUET exam admission category, you must clear JMI's Entrance exam.

1 - CUET Jamia Millia Islamia Eligibility Criteria 2023 for B.A.(Hons) Hindi

Jamia Millia Islamia CUET criteria are categorized under two parameters:

• Educational Qualification
• Minimum qualifying marks

You are eligible for B.A.(Hons) Hindi program at JMI only if you satisfy the Jamia Millia Islamia CUET criteria mentioned below.

• Educational qualification: You must have completed class 12 or an equivalent exam from a recognized university/board.
• Minimum qualifying marks: You will require to hold at least 50% aggerate marks out of the best 5-papers or in the subject concerned in your class 12.

2 - CUET Jamia Millia Islamia Eligibility Criteria 2023 for B.A.(Hons) Sanskrit

If you want to choose B.Sc. Biotechnology at Jamia Millia Islamia University, you must satisfy the following criteria.

• Educational qualification: You must have completed class 12 or an equivalent exam to be eligible for admission.
• Minimum qualifying marks: You should have scored 50% marks in each science subject, i.e., Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/ Mathematics.

Educational Qualification

• Category 1: You must have already acquired NSQF certification Level 4 in the industry sector belonging to Solar Energy. (or)
• Category 2: You must have acquired NSQF certification Level 4 but may like to change your sector and pursue a Vocational course in Solar Energy. (or)
• Category 3: You must have completed class 12 or an equivalent exam with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects without any vocational training background.

Minimum qualifying marks: You should have secured at least 50% marks in the qualifying examination.

9 - Jamia Millia Islamia CUET eligibility criteria for B.Sc.(Hons) Physics
